Dance Studio Rental at Villa Balance in Berlin

Studio rental

The Dance Studios at Villa Balance can be rented for classes and workshops when available. All studios are column-free and equipped with sprung floors, dance carpets, mirrored walls, ballet bars, and sound systems, and are spread across three floors in our charming Dance Villa, in walking distance from Tempelhofer Hafen.

NEW: Long-term subletting coming soon:
Studios 2 and 5 will be available for permanent rental starting October 2026 from 4:00 PM.
Continuous use is required in this case.

Short-term rentals Monday through Friday:
3-hour minimum required.
Studios 2 and 5 are available starting at 4:00 PM, Studio 3 often on Fridays from 5:30 PM.

Short-term rentals Weekend:
5-hour minimum requirement for Studio 3, Studio 1 and Studio 5.

If you are interested in booking a studio, please email us with the desired studio, desired date, duration and times, type of use, and number of participants. We will then contact you to let you know if the studio is available during the desired time period and what the costs would be.

Otherwise, the studios are the home of our dance education program and intensive dance program.

Studio 1

135 sqm without pillars, mirror, ballet barre, stereo equipment, three window fronts, 2. Floor. Sprung Floor Harlequin, Vinyl Floor Harlequin.
Usually only available for rental on weekends. The dance carpet is not suitable for heels or outdoor shoes.

Studio 3

new from august 2024: Enlargement 142 sqm without pillars, mirror, ballet barre, stereo equipment, two window fronts. Sprung Floor Harlequin, Vinyl Floor Tüchler
Can be darkened, has theater curtains and spotlights that can also be used for video shoots, for example. The dance carpet is not suitable for heels or street shoes.
Often available on Mondays and Fridays from 5:00 p.m. and on weekends.

Studio 5

70 sqm without pillars, mirror, ballet barre, stereo equipment, one window front, ground floor. Sprung Floor Harlequin, Vinyl Floor Harlequin Oak Strip Effect.
Often available from 4 p.m. and on weekends, also suitable for yoga, Pilates, or as a seminar room. The dance carpet is robust and suitable for many uses.

Studio 2 and 4

55 sqm without pillars, mirror, ballet barre, stereo equipment, two window fronts, 1. & 2.Floor. Sprung Floor Harlequin, Vinyl Floor Harlequin.
Studios 2 and 4 are currently unavailable for rent.

Dressing rooms

Women’s as well as men’s dressing rooms are ground floor with 3 WCs and shower each, 3 additional WCs on second floor.

Dance villa

In this charming villa built in 1913 by well-known architect Peter Behrens, the Dance Studios are spread over three floors.
