Live on Stage: Experience Our Conservatory Productions

Stage practice from day one: Regular theatre performances in Berlin are an essential and core component of the three-year professional dance program at Balance 1 Academy. Our students showcase advanced choreographies and original graduation pieces to the public

• Admission to Dance (March): An annual full-length production where the graduating class presents its technical and artistic skills in pieces created by international guest choreographers.
• Graduation Choreographies (September): The formal, celebratory showcase featuring the final choreography works of our graduating students.
• Dance Solo Works (January): An intimate, powerful format where second-year students present their own solo choreography pieces live in Studio 3 of the Academy.

Important Notice for Our Audience Members and Visitors
To protect our dancers and the audience, we ask that you follow standard hygiene measures (coughing and sneezing etiquette, handwashing) if you have acute respiratory symptoms. If you have severe symptoms, we ask that you wear an FFP2 mask or, to protect the ensemble, refrain from attending the respective performance or open house. Ticket Presale & Box Office

Advance ticket sales for external theater productions generally begin about 1.5 months before the performance dates. Remaining tickets are usually available at the box office one hour before the performance begins.

Open House Days at Balance 1 Academy

Are you interested in our three-year dance training program or the 5-month Dance Intensive program and would like to get a firsthand look at daily life at our Dance Villa beforehand? Twice a year (in the spring and fall), we open our doors to all aspiring talents.

• Next Date: Friday, October 30, 2026
• Here’s what to expect: You can easily observe the regular classes for training students and those in the intensive program. This will give you a real sense of the skill level and the training atmosphere.
• No advance registration required: You can observe multiple classes or just drop by for one hour. The schedule will be published shortly.
• Individual consultation: If you’d like a personal consultation with the school administration, please contact us in advance by Email  so we can schedule a specific time for you.
