Cristiana Casadio

Role: Faculty Member (Contemporary Dance, Partnering), Choreographer.
Elite Athletics & NYC Scholarships: Originally a high-level athlete, Cristiana was crowned Italian Championin Rhythmic Gymnastics. She transitioned to dance through elite scholarships in New York City (Merce Cunningham Studio, Peridance Center) and Romes's Spellbound Contemporary Ballet.
International Soloist Track Record: Starred as a prominent soloist for leading European companies, including Mauro Bigonzetti’s Aterballetto, Botega Dance Company (Rome), and the Balletto dell'Esperia (Turin).
Award-Winning Choreography: Her creations won the 1st Prize at the International Kulturbörse Freiburg, the Audience Award at the SoloDuo Festival '25, and a Total Theatre Award nomination at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She choreographs for major institutions, including the prestigious Berliner Ensemble.
Global Prestige & Teaching: Her choreographies have been showcased at elite festivals in the USA, Mexico, South Korea, Japan, and across Europe. She is a globally sought-after guest faculty member, teaching at top-tier institutions like the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona and the Professional Conservatory of Dance in Valencia.
Teaching Focus: Pushing technical boundaries in contemporary movement and elite partnering.
