Dance Academy Balance 1 Berlin - professional dance program and Dance Studio
The Dance Academy in Berlin offers a 3-year international Dance Training Program and a 5-month Dance Intensive Program. The new created Dance Studio will offer Dance Classes for Teenager, young adults and Kids in Berlin. Dance Academy Balance 1 welcomes devoted dancers who want to immerse themselves in the world of Theatre Dance with a long tradition of promoting talent and creativity. Regardless of whether the goal is to turn the fascination for dance into a profession, passionate hobby dancers wish to prepare for future professional programs or work on refining their pliés, or whether talented youngsters dream to delve deeper into the world of theatre dance: the Academy offers plenty of opportunities to develop and work on potential. Experienced dance teachers and a lively community of dedicated dancers will accompany students on their path.
The 3-year international dance program offers a diploma and is officially certified and approved by the Senate of Berlin since 1996.

Dance Training possibilities at the professional Academy in Germany
Professional Dance Training - international Diploma Program
The 3-year professional dance training program is designed for dancers, who plan to become a professional dance artist and work in the field of performing arts. The professional international training program focuses on the development of dance technique such as ballet, contemporary dance, modern dance and jazz dance. We work as well as on the development of your own personal artistic expression. The dance diploma is officially approved.
At the international Academy you will be part of a demanding and at the same time family-oriented training structure.
Dancers from all over the world have successfully been trained at the long established Dance Academy Balance 1 Berlin for now 30 years.
The new semester of the international dance program starts yearly at the beginning of October.
If you can’t make it to one of our live auditions, we also accept your application as a video audition.

Dance Intensive Program with Dance Certificate
The 5-month Dance Intensive Program offering a Dance Certificate is tailored as a preparation for a professional training program. It is open as well for passionate dancers training regularly in their free time wishing to deepen their technique in a supportive and encouraging environment.
This Certificate program expands fundamentals in a variety of dance styles, including ballet, contemporary dance, and jazz dance.
It offers an exquisite possibility to expand personal potentials in a safe environment and the opportunity to train exclusively in a closed group.
There is no age limit and no audition for this program. However, previous dance experience and physical fitness is required to sustain the rigors of the program.
The training takes place in the afternoon from 4:45 p.m. and can therefore be attended after work. The DIP takes place twice a year, starting at the beginning of february and at the beginning of September. To apply we expect your CV and motivation letter.

Kids Dance
Kids Ballet, Jazz Dance and Modern Dance 7-10 and 11-14 years old
Children are introduced to the basics of classical ballet in a fun way and/or have the opportunity to try out other dance styles.
Dance Classes Teenager and Twens
Ballet Teenager and Twens, Jazz- and Modern Dance Teenager and Twens ages 15 and up
Small classes are designed to support teenagers who already have some experience, who wish to further deepen their knowledge alongside their general education, and who may even be considering a future career in theatre dance.
Dance Pre-Education
The 9-month Dance Pre-Education is a program designed exclusively for dancers 16 years and up who wish to prepare for auditions at professional dance academies. It provides intense training in dance technique.
If have you been dancing for some time already and would like to prepare yourself fundamentally for the entrance exams of professional programs and are between 16 and 23 years old, then we invite you to apply for our Dance Pre-Education.
You need to have dance-experience to apply, and you have to pass an audition for this opportunity!
The training takes place in the mornings in the dance training classes. Therefore, you cannot attend it if you are still obliged to attend school. This program starts yearly at the beginning of october.
