Dance Pre-Education
Pre-Professional Program – 9 months in Berlin
starting at the beginning of october
The 9- month Dance Pre-Education is a Pre-professional Program designed to prepare intensively for the auditions at professional academies offering a dance education program. This Pre-professional Program is a great and unique possibility for you to get a taste of the real full-time Dance Training at the Dance Academy Balance 1 Berlin. You need to have a technical dance background and attend one of our auditions to participate. If you haven’t much previous dance experience yet, we suggest to apply for our 5-months dance program instead.
All classes are held in english and german.
Admission requirements
You need to be highly motivated with a curious mentality. Enthusiastic by dance in its multifaceted forms. Do you have the will to prepare yourself physically and mentally for a dance training?
You need technical pre-skills in dance. Once you have passed the audition you will take part in the first year of studies of the educational classes.
Since classes are held in the mornings, you need to have completed your school education already.
You can visit the Pre-professional Training in the age range between 16 and 26 years. Exceptions must be agreed on beforehand.
Scope of training
2 classes lasting 90 minutes from monday to friday: 9:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. or 10:45 a.m. – 14:00 p.m.
The holiday periods will be the ones of the dance education, not the official ones.
Each participant of the Pre-professional dance training will receive a certificate. In order to receive the certificate the dance student must not miss more than 25% of the entire program. Whoever has been absent more than 25% of the program can only receive a confirmation of participation.
Duration
Start of pre-professional dance training: Beginning of October
End of pre-professional dance training: End of June

Fees
The flat-rate contribution for the 8 months is € 2560,- , which may be paid in monthly rates of € 320,- at the beginning of each month, at the latest on the 10th of each month in advance. Further costs will occur for dance wear.
